Since the first edition of 2011 Valfredda has been alongside the Arketipos association in the development of the “I Maestri del Paesaggio” festival which is held every year in September in Bergamo. Always, as founding members of the association, we are committed to spreading an idea of ​​professional gardening and landscaping trying to involve professionals through the International meeting and the general public through many related activities and the design of this temporary event in the most important square of Bergamo. Unlike many flower shows, this space is interactive for the people who live the city and through this experience we invite them to a discussion on the landscape styles developed and on the way in which green changes the way of live, feel and enjoying different spaces.

EDITION 2018 – PIET OUDOLF

Among the various squares designed, for us this was the most complex challenge ever and certainly the most empowering one. Apart from the herbaceous plants, in fact, there were no other trees or structures to support the project of this square, the more than 16,000 plants therefore had to respond to the best and there was no margin for error. Piet’s satisfaction when he saw the square practically developed (before his final touch) was a sigh of happiness for everyone, we all knew the difficulty of developing a temporary event of this magnitude with potted plants in a month like September that comes from the great summer heat.
