Since the first edition of 2011 Valfredda has been alongside the Arketipos association in the development of the “I Maestri del Paesaggio” festival which is held every year in September in Bergamo. Always, as founding members of the association, we are committed to spreading an idea of professional gardening and landscaping trying to involve professionals through the International meeting and the general public through many related activities and the design of this temporary event in the most important square of Bergamo. Unlike many flower shows, this space is interactive for the people who live the city and through this experience we invite them to a discussion on the landscape styles developed and on the way in which green changes the way of live, feel and enjoying different spaces.
EDITION 2015 – ANDY STURGEON
This was the first square designed with an award-winning designer at the Chelsea Flower Show, it was a complex job but Andy Sturgeon’s flexibility and great skill in finding alternative solutions to growing difficulties helped us a lot. The result was a naturalistic square with very colorful features that emerged and contrasted with the choice of developing a black background that recalled the summer heat that must have been reminiscent of a burnt ground.
