Organized by the Valfredda nursery, Valfredda seminar is a moment of in-depth study dedicated to flowers and herbaceous perennials. Two exceptional guests for the 2019 Edition: Cassian Schmidt, landscape architect, author and lecturer with 25 years’ experience; and James Hitchmough, Professor at the University of Sheffield. The Godmother of Vafredda Seminar is Annie Guilfoyle, award-winning designer, silver medal-winner at the Chelsea Flower Show and journalist for the “Gardens Illustrated”, together with Mauro Crescini, owner of the Valfredda nursery leader in Europe in for the cultivation of herbaceous perennials; landscape architect Giacomo Guzzon of the University of Sheffield and a close collaborator of Gillespie Studio in London for which he works on projects all over the world, and Beatrice Rivolta.
The speakers will guide the participants through the design of green spaces with a special focus on flowers and herbaceous perennials, each in accordance with their own field of expertise.
